The upcoming Metropolis World Congress has already garnered the support of institutions of major international importance such as UN-Habitat, the Frente Nacional de Prefeitos de Brasil (FNP), the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD), and the International Telecommunications Union (ITU). This support for Metropolis translates into collaborations that enable enhanced understanding about the different realities of local and metropolitan governments, to devise cooperation networks and combine forces to tackle the construction of a sustainable future for our cities.
